We are a newly established nonprofit cat shelter, inspired by the impactful work of Adopt A Cat in our community.
At the moment, Pats and Scratches is still awaiting designation in Guidestar. We are working vigilantly to fund a brick-and-mortar location. We will have cats in our care that will need help until they can be fostered or adopted. Please contact for more information.

Be inspired to bring a loving cat into your home
We do our best to ensure the cats in our care get the help and support they need. We are a No- Kill shelter. Only reason for euthanizing will be for problems that alter the cats life beyond repair.

A community where no cat is left homeless, neglected, or forgotten. We envision a future where every cat has the chance to live a healthy, happy life in a home filled with love.
Our Mission
To continue the legacy of Adopt A Cat by rescuing, sheltering, and preparing cats for adoption or fostering. We provide each cat with food, medical care, socialization.
A Background on Our Board Members
We are proud to introduce three of our dedicated board members, each bringing a unique perspective and unwavering commitment to our mission. All three are veterans, whose service and leadership experience translate into compassion, discipline, and dedication to the well-being of our cats. Their combined expertise ensures that Pats and Scratches Cat Sanctuary continue to provide a safe, loving, and supportive environment for every feline in our care.
